East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar says the construction of the Gembira Gembrong Village is targeted for completion this week.

According to him, the construction of neighborhood roads and water channels is still undergoing. Therefore, he contacted the Bina Marga and Water Resources (SDA) agencies to help conduct monitoring in the field for optimal results.

"Our time is urgent so I call them for acceleration," he expressed, while observing the construction of Gembira Gembrong Urban Village, RW 01 Cipinang Besar Utara, Jatinegara, Tuesday (9/27).

He continued that the progress of road and channel construction is still being optimized.

"Hope all can be finished this week, so we can inaugurate them soon," he concluded.

The house building is currently still in the finishing stage. Workers only need to complete light parts such as installing doors, windows, ceramics, and so forth.
